Objective: 

This course seeks to help the students in understanding the emergence of self from developmental, experimental, humanistic and Indian perspectives, with the goal to enhance their personal growth & well-being and that of others in their contact.

The Social Construction of Self esteem

The conventional view, Deconstructing self esteem, cultural emphasis and the discourse of self esteem; experience of self esteem; social import of mood; mood, self esteem and discourse.

Introduction, source of self efficacy, importance of self efficacy, collective efficacy, enhancement of self efficacy.
