On completion of this course, the students will be able to:

CO71: Acquire basic counselling skills of problem identification, and relationship building (e.g. empathy, listening, paraphrasing, unconditional positive regard)

CO72: Develop qualities of an effective counsellor including increasing self-awareness, reflexivity, self-monitoring and objectivity.

CO73: Learn the appropriate counselling approaches for different age groups and dealing with different mild and chronic problems.
