Dept. Orientation July 2018

A kaleidoscopic, energy-packed orientation programme was organised by the Department of Psychology to welcome the first year students of BA/BSc (Hons.) and MA/MSc.
The programme began with a warm welcome to all the faculty members and students with tika-moli, followed by floral greetings to the faculty members to mark the auspiciousness of Guru Poornima, which coincided on the same date. The faculty members also planted a seed of life to symbolize the beginning of a new academic year.
The cultural programme began with the introductory section of the faculty members through various dances centred around the branches of psychology.  Also, some of the new students gave solo musical performances. The new faculty members of the department Dr. Sneha Nathawat, Ms. Sankul Gaur and Ms. Anushree were also welcomed.
The freshers were familiarized with the examination pattern, credit system, cultural activities of the department and the University. They were also given a fun-filled ride through several ice-breaking games followed by refreshments.
