Orientation Session (2022-23)

The Department of Psychology organized an Orientation  Programme for Freshers 2022 (Both Undergraduate and Postgraduate) on Wednesday, 7th Sept 2022. The event was organized in order to familiarize the newcomers with the functioning of the department as well as make them gel in with their seniors at an informal level.

The programme began at 11:30 AM with a traditional and warm welcome to all the faculty members and students with tika-moli, followed by floral greetings to the faculty members.

The event progressed with an Informal Musical Introduction of the teachers and their subject specialization which not only filled enthusiasm within the students but also kept everyone in splits. Thereafter an interesting Ice breaking game cum Name introduction was held.

The programme was carried further with the words of  Dr.Himangini Rathore who acquainted the students with the course structure and departmental facilities at the university. This was added by an explanation of the credit system, examination pattern and a short discussion on the working of Metacampus and various co-curricular activities by other faculty Members. Also, some of the new students gave solo musical performances.

The programme ended with a melodious song from freshers and feedback from the juniors and a serving of refreshments.
