The students of psychology organized a color splash activity named, Splash your worries out, on the occasion of World Mental Health Day i.s. October 10th, in the college lawns. The main aim of this activity was to choose the diversity of minds with a burst of colors and to achieve catharsis which means to release a powerful emotion through art, which is accompanied by cognitive insight and a positive change.

A large canvas sheet was put up in the lawns with different vibrant paints and brushes available. The participants were asked to splash the colours on the white canvas sheet by means of releasing an emotion or a thought. The organizers initiated this activity so that everybody gets an insight as to what they have to do without any rules or judgements. Large number of students from different course participated in this activity and enjoyed the process of splashing beautiful colours on the canvas. Even the teachers from different department visited and took part in the activity. Students did palm printing, aggressive splashes, drawings and wrote their worries on the canvas to express their feelings, inspire hope and support each other. The activity continued for 4 hours and the end result was beautiful. The canvas was filled with unique colours, the emotions, experiences and the journey of each student. The participants enjoyed this activity and asked the orangizers to do such activities again. At the end the canvas sheet was kept to dry so that it can be put up in the college premises.
