Activity: RORSCHACH WORKSHOP
Date: 28th - 30th October, 2014
A three-day workshop on “Rorschach Inkblot Testing” was organized by the Department of Psychology and The Counseling and Career Development Centre (CCDC) in Srijan Hall at the IIS University. The workshop was conducted by an eminent figure in the field of Psychology, Dr. Dwarka Prasad. He is a Practicing Clinical Psychologist and a retired Additional Professor of Clinical Psychology, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
The overview, conduction, administration, interpretation and report making of Rorschach test was taught to the students. Moreover, the signs and symptoms of different psychotic disorder that are reflected in the report of the subject were also taught to the students.
The students learnt a lot from him. According to them, it was a very useful and enriching experience as compared to the brief introduction that was given in the class regarding Rorschach. The interaction with the resource person was detailed and it enriched the understanding and the skills of the students for test conduction.
In the end Dr. Prasad answered participants’ queries to their satisfaction. He also gave them his cell no. so that they could discuss all their doubts regarding Rorschach. A formal vote of thanks was given to Dr. Prasad to conclude the workshop.
