The Counselling Interview: History Taking, Interviewing (Characteristics, Types, Techniques)
Specific counselling skills and related activities.
Ethical Principles of Counselling, Professional Code of Ethics: ACA Code. RCI Code of Ethics for Counsellors. Ethical issues and dilemmas. Values in Counselling. General Moral theories. Applying moral principles and ethical codes to practice.
Counselling relationship: Introduction, Images, Developing an effective therapeutic alliance, Concept of boundary, Measurement, Implications of relationship theories. Process of Counseling: Counseling Process, Steps, stages and comprehensive analysis of process.
