Science and Scientific approach; Meaning purpose of Research, Steps in research with special  emphasis on concepts like problem, Hypothesis, Constructs and variables; Applied and Basic Research;  Rationale of Research in Psychology.

Principles and methods, Representative sampling plans.

Single case study method; survey methods; ex-post facto; field studies.
