The students will be able to – CO41: Describe the structure and function of different kinds of group behaviour (e.g. deindividuation, group polarization). CO42: Predict the impact of the presence of others on individual behaviour (e.g. bystander effect, social facilitation). CO43: Describe processes that contribute to differential treatment of group members (e.g. in-group/out-group dynamics, ethnocentrism, prejudice). CO44: Apply the knowledge of social issues to understanding the psychological consequences of poverty, gender issues in present world. |
